Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and his family visited the British Museum and were marveled by what they saw. Before leaving, Mozart, who was only nine, composed “God is Our Refuge” in G minor as a gift to the British Museum.
In 1935, the German composer Wilheim composed the Hofbräuhaus-Lied in honor to this place.
The anthem of Burgos was composed in 1920 by the musician Rafael Calleja Gómez. It’s sung every year in the city's celebrations, in front of the Arco de Santa María. Listen to the anthem.
