According to the site’s official webpage, the building is permanently closed. You can only enjoy its architecture from the outside.
You can get there by metro. The nearest stations are Isabel la Católica, Salto del Agua and Pino Suárez. We recommend you get off at Isabel la Católica and walk along the street of the same name to San Jerónimo.

A music festival takes place in the East Side Gallery on August 18th and 19th. There are performances of more than 60 international bands and solo artists of different musical genres. Admission is free.
Near the East Side Gallery there are other tourist attractions that you can visit such as the Mercedes Benz Arena and the Oberbaumbrücke. You can also take a boat trip through the Spree River.
